Western Power Products Inc.

Western Power Products started providing engines to original equipment manufacturers and packaging power units for agricultural and industrial applications in southern California over 30 years ago. Today our territory includes all of California, Arizona, Hawaii and Western Nevada and we provide everything from simple power units and basic power train components to custom engineered and fabricated engine and power train packages to over a thousand customers and dealers.

Our product lines include John Deere and Yanmar engines and Funk Drivetrain components. We also handle a multitude of components that enable us to provide complete power units and drivetrain packages such as PTO's, cooling components, pumps, generators and aftertreatment products. In addition to that, we manufacture numerous products like skids, enclosures and fuel tank trailers.

We operate out of three locations. Our 30,000 sq. ft. corporate headquarters is in Bakersfield. At this location we do all of our design and application engineering as well as manufacturing and assembling the standard power units and custom packages for all of our sales territory.

At our branch in Woodland we do some assembly and trim on the power units and power train packages for our OEM customers and dealers in Northern California and Northwest Nevada. Our Southern California branch in Long Beach is a critical hub for our parts and wholegoods sales in Southern California, Arizona and Southern Nevada. We have 5 Territory Managers and 3 Inside Sales people supporting our 5 Sales Territories.

To support these products we have field service personnel that operate out of our Bakersfield and Woodland locations. For service outside of these locations we have almost 80 service dealers supporting our John Deere and Yanmar engines and Funk drivetrain components. Included in that number are 13 Marine Dealers who sell and service the John Deere marine engines in California and Hawaii.

With the ever changing environmental regulations from federal and state agencies we believe it's critical to provide our customers with information to understand and meet the current regulations. To accomplish this, we have a full time emission specialist who works with all of our customers, dealers and sales staff. We have made this commitment so that our customers will have a source for current information and can be compliant with the current laws. We are able to offer many alternatives for our customers to meet current regulations.

As we stated in our mission statement, our commitment is long term. We are not here for the quick sale. We are here to be the premier engine, power train and systems provider today and for the future.
